TREES PLEASE is a non-profit organization founded in 1989 to promote the preservation and planting of street and park trees in Pueblo, Colorado.
Our goal is to consolidate the efforts of residents, the City, businesses and environmental groups to restore and maintain our urban forest. We aim to promote personal involvement, community action, and global climate awareness through the planting of trees in this community.

Legislated New Ordinance
1995 - Present
Legislated a new landscape ordinance for the City of Pueblo. TREES PLEASE, in conjunction with the Planning Department, composed, lobbied, and worked for the enactment of this law regarding landscape criteria for businesses. The ordinance was voted into law in July of 1995.
